The largest project I’ve done to date. The mural in its entirety
measures over 6000 sq. ft. If you include all the cutouts, it’s probably
closer to 9000.

My client wanted a mural depicting Times Square in New York City
to adorn the walls of his new Gateway Mall Cineplex in Cubao, QC.
He felt that Times Square was the entertainment mecca of the world,
so he wanted his cineplex to feel as such.

Consisting of two parts, the mural was created digitally and printed on
tarpaulin as well as high-quality indoor sticker. The first and main part
of the mural, the lobby, has multiple levels of cutouts - giving it a
dynamic, 3-dimensional feel.

As for the second part, the hallway leading to the cineplex, he wanted
something that was reminiscent of Broadway’s theater row to showcase some of the most significant events ever to be held at the Araneta
Coliseum. The makeshift columns function as strategic placeholders
for the cineplex’ lightbox posters of current and coming attractions.
